Hey
First performane workshop done.
Johanna was there, a performance artist from Brasil but based in Malmoe,
a guy that studied in the art university in Stockholm and one that did it in
Malmoe plus to experimental muscians. Seems like it will continue every month.

They are planing a performance festival in September and I have been in
contact with a school here that might be interested in putting some money
into some performance art happening.

THE NOTES FROM THE WORKSHOP

The First Massma performance art workshop,
9th-11th February 2007, Massma Gallery, Ronneby, Sweden.

Participants:
Oskar and Sebastian (the ones that invited us)
Sergio (the artist showing at the Massma Gallery)

First day
Some talk about performance art and its history.
Breathing exercises with Sergio.
Oskar and Sebastian presented some of their earlier work.

Second

A group fika at the Ronneby square with fancy grandmother china and chairs and all.
Johanna presented some of her earlier performances.
I presented my work up to date.
Physical exercise lead by Sergio.
Josefin & Josefin performed an experimental music piece.
Sebastian entered the stage with blips and blops coming out of the speakers.

Third

Henrik directed all participants in a submerging of a fruit salad
Oskar and Sergio played with Henrik's things which were recorded on film..
Johanna did several performances with snowballs, including forcing us to through them at her.
Sergio did a drumming performance in his space built for his current exhibition at the gallery.
I tried to eat a frozen folköl but had to give up.

Sebastian once again got up on stage with props and words coming out of his mouth.
Henrik directed everyone in a collective-orange-juice-S&M-squeezing.
